The New Hero Rises By: Clyde Machine
A hero rises in the morning, leaving his comfortable world of dreams and familiar imagination to bask in the sunlight gently illuminating his bedroom, before getting to his last chores, for he is about to set out on a life-changing journey. He collects his equipment, going through the daily grind of the typical village life he's always known, and after ensuring he is prepared in the mind and body, leaves his hometown to embark on what will seem like an everlasting expedition in search of truth, understanding, and the power to protect that which he holds dear to his heart.
The green grassy fields outside his town are a welcome and open metaphor for the world around him. When he has travelled all that there is to travel, he will know the world, and the world will know him as a hero. |
