Nox Imperatrix By: elementj21
The title literally means, "Empress of the Night" in Latin.
Inspired by the dark-gothic theme that bad guys of old sci-fi cartoons/animes, always seem to have. The ominous lighting, the cathedral-like cyclopean structures and constructs, and most importantly, how they appear organic. They gave a sense of chaos and alien uncertainty, which evoked an atmosphere of dread, as opposed to the predictable, practical and order oriented engineering of the good guys. |
