A Lapse of Electricity By: Siamon
There is one thing that we use everyday, and which we cannot live without: Electricity. But; when electricity goes out, we shall realise the true nature of our species, we are humans, and we are here to survive one way or another.
In this piece, I tried to create a two-part composition. First part has a cold feel to it and presents an energetic beat, the electricity, the city life, the business whatever you call it. The second part possesses a more calming tempo, much more warm sound which presents the lapse of the electricity, like we just go out to the nature, and see what we miss everyday.
The song finishes just like how it starts, presenting that electricity is back, but we experienced that moment in which we thought about the purpose of our existence. |
