Pieces of Heaven By: Genesis
This is one of those pieces that just pours out of you, and I think that adds to the theme of the exhibition because not only does this piece represent energy in terms of content, it represents it in form. As for the title, I've been thinking lately that this type of "abstract" art challenges the idea of what is abstract and what isn't. Abstract art is really about the distortion of nature and I don't think I achieve exactly that with this style of art. However, what this style offers is a chance to look at something that has never been seen in real life, yet isn't too far off from reality. That was the motivation behind this title.
